We are not just building another MS organization. We are building the bridges that help the entire MS community grow stronger — together.
— MS Circles
Every day, around the world, around 3.8 million people are living with multiple sclerosis. Researchers dedicate their careers to understanding the disease. Neurologists and healthcare professionals work to provide the best possible care. Other NGOs and organizations support their communities with information, services, and advocacy. Volunteers give their time, creativity and dedication. Families provide love and strength. There is an extraordinary amount of knowledge, experience, and dedication.
Yet something is still missing
Too often:
- Valuable ideas stay within one country.
- Important experiences never travel beyond a local community.
- Successful projects are reinvented instead of shared.
- Research takes time to reach the people who could benefit from it.
- People living with MS often feel they have to search in many different places to find trustworthy information, practical advice, or simply someone who understands what they are going through.
We believe it can be better. We believe it should be better. We believe MS Circles fills the gap.
We believe in building bridges
MS Circles was created with a simple vision — not just to become another organization, but to connect the organizations, people, and knowledge, and together be strong. We believe collaboration is stronger than competition. When organizations share ideas, everyone benefits. When researchers, healthcare professionals, and people living with MS learn from each other, knowledge becomes more meaningful. When experiences travel across borders, people feel less alone.
When one country finds a better way of supporting people with MS, why shouldn’t the rest of the world learn from it? That is the bridge we want to build.
Looking beyond the disease
MS is a neurological disease. But living with MS is about much more than neurology. It is about relationships — family, work, dreams, identity, purpose and quality of life. The conversations that matter are not only about MRI scans and treatments. They are also about how people continue to build meaningful lives while living with MS. Those conversations deserve a better place. Life for people living with MS needs to have a lot more focus.
A different way of thinking
At MS Circles, we believe that knowledge should not simply be collected. It should be shared, explained, translated into everyday life and made accessible to everyone. We believe that people living with MS are not only receivers of knowledge — they are also creators of knowledge. That is a completely new perspective. Every life lived with MS teaches something. Every story has the potential to help someone else. Every challenge overcome becomes experience that another person may one day need. That is why the voices of people living with MS are just as important as research papers or clinical guidelines. Together, they create a more complete understanding of life with the disease.
An international community
MS does not stop at borders. Neither should knowledge. MS Circles is built to connect people, organizations, researchers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and partners across countries. Not to replace what already exists, but to strengthen it — to encourage collaboration, to inspire new ideas, to share successful projects, to learn from one another, and ultimately to improve life for people living with MS everywhere.
Life is for living
Everything we do is guided by one simple belief. A diagnosis changes life. It does not end life. MS brings challenges, uncertainty, and adjustments. But it can also reveal resilience, courage, perspective, and new ways of living. Our purpose is not simply to talk about MS. Our purpose is to help people live with MS — not just live, but believe in living. To help them feel informed, connected, supported and reminded that even with MS, there is still so much life to be lived.
Because at the heart of everything we do is one simple message: Life is for living.
